Found this lamp recently. Very dirty. Fabric shade was stained. Cleaned up pretty well. Fabric on the shade is probably not original as it is in very good condition once cleaned. In my research I have found similar style porcelain figurines to Sitzendorf (German) but I’m not sure.

And the top brass tube:

The shade after cleaning:

Any idea of what I have, country of origin, age?
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
Nothing on the bottom that I can see. It is covered with felt though. The top of the tube where the light socket is does not have anything either. I had thought of taking it apart to see if there is a maker’s mark on the underside of the porcelain, but my wife does not want me to risk taking it apart.

I should have also posted a photo of the finial which does not show with the shade on:

Cleaning the shade took awhile. It had brown water stains, I think maybe nicotine smoke. First I used my carpet cleaner’s drapery attachment wand. I used a highly diluted laundry detergent in the soap tank. The wand is also vacuuming up the moisture as you clean. Second cleaning I used a diluted mix of Simple Green. The inside of the top of the shade is too narrow to get the cleaning wand into. So I filled a wide bucket with warm water, then gently scrubbed the interior with a diluted Simple Green mix and dipped the shade upside down into the bucket to rinse. Lastly, I used the carpet cleaner wand with no soap, just warm water for a final rinse. Air dry.

Yes, I’m in the US; Buffalo NY. Many German immigrants came here in the early 20th century.

This lamp fits the décor of our living room. But we are also wondering what the value might be. It is 37 1/2″ tall to top of the shade.
