I have a beautiful oak hutch made by Marshall Laird, Los Angeles in the Spanish Revival style.
I need help pricing this as we are downsizing and won’t have room for it.
We live in the Pacific NW so not sure the market is as good as it would be in California.

Look at these pics !! Lets redo your listing !! You have to use something to get attention !! “Marshall Laird was one of the top furniture designers in California during the 1920`s and 30`s !! His furniture can be found in the most prestigious historic homes in the greater Los Angeles area !! This welsh cupboard designed by Marshall Laird can only gain in value as time goes on !!” Then give the size,, length, width and height and any condition related issues !! Change the Price to $2800. and for the title,, “Beautiful Welsh Cupboard designed by Marshall Laird Los Angeles circa 1920`s or 30`s” And list in the closest major city within driving distance. If you get no response, change locations !! Remember people who would buy something like this do not mind driving to get it !!
You could even list on ebay for pick up only,, but that would cost a bit !! Have no idea what their fee would be for an item like this !! I just sell small stuff !!
I think this piece is worth the $2800. but since your listing was $2000. You have some room to dicker on price !! I think if it were mine $2500. would be bottom price !!

Sorry about the delay getting back to you. Selling & buying houses is crazy! The link below will take you to my craigslist ad I recently placed. Priced it at $2000 just to see what would happen. Nothing!

Thank you for getting back to me. It’s a very nice piece, doesn’t have the intricate carving that a lot of Marshall Laird pieces have. It has almost a country look rather than Spanish Revival. We have enjoyed it for 33 years but will no longer have room for it.
Thank you
