My grandfather gave this hutch to my grandmother in 1940. A family member told me it was an antique dental hutch. Someone else said it was an antique kitchen hutch. I have searched for any kind of markings & have had no luck. Can anyone please tell me anything about it by the pictures? Thank you

Try looking for early 1900 barber cabinets !! You may have better luck !! Finding a match is almost impossible so just look for something similar !! Dentists were few and far between but a barber was easy to find !! Like I said a barber often did double duty as a dentist !!

No point in looking for a name !! Furniture was rarely marked before the late 1940`s and few even after that !! I do not think this was a kitchen cabinet or hutch !! Could have well been a medical or dental cabinet !! Remember your dentist was often also your barber so may have had a double use !! The metal lined drop down door may have held clean towels !!

Thank you for your answer. I’m gonna try doing some more research under medical/dental cabinet. You have given me something to go on.
