Having trouble dating and determining type of wood for a Luce bedroom set. My first post here and will do my best to make it painless. We were told it is Art Deco but I’m not leaning in that direction. I am attaching photos of label and pieces. It is a 7 piece set and in great condition. It has these dials to remove molding and mirrors. Full bed frame, vanity, dresser, highboy, two (very heavy) mirrors, and a chair. We don’t even know where to start as far as asking price. Thanks for taking the time.

Tiger Maple is what I was thinking too !! The secondary woods can be anything !! I did see some oak !! The darker woods may be mahogany !! Hard to tell without seeing it in person !! I think this was made between 1933 and 1938 !! !933 they went into bankruptcy and that is when they made most of the blended woods sets !! Some think that anything made during the Deco period is of that style but that is not always the case !! The style of this set tells me it was made just prior to the 1940`s !! It is hand painted so that is a plus !! For all the pieces I think it should bring between $800. and $1000 if in excellent condition !! Of course where you are affects the selling price too !! Metro areas sell better than rural areas !!
