Evidently that was not the problem !! But on a good note,, two of the pics above decided to let me see them !! This does not,, so far, look like an extremely old piece !! In fact, to me, looks pretty modern !! Would help if I could see how it was put together !! Looking at the front just doesn`t tell much !! If I can move the pics,, do you mind if I post this chest on another antique forum ?? There are people there that are more knowledgable on this type furniture that I am !! I know more about American, English and some European furniture !! Would still like to see the interior for construction details !! Or if you wish,, you can go to www.antique-shop.com and post them direct !! That way you can follow the thread !! There is no one ever here except me,,and I try to help when I can !!

Pics are still not loading !! Could be because they are too big !! Often if you take pics with a phone or other hand held device,, they will be oversized for the site !! Can you try to reduce the size on one and lets see if it will load ??

Thank you, Martha. I don’t know why the pics won’t open for you. I attached one of the cabinet and one of the matching mirror (smaller size). There aren’t any drawers. It is a shelf. The smoked mirrors (with painting) are glued onto the wood. I hope this helps.

I cannot get the pics to load completely !! Can only see the top half !! What does it look like inside ?? does it have drawers or shelves ?? If drawers can you take a pic of the dovetail joints and one of the chest with doors open ??
