Hi! Hoping someone may know more about this Tell City Smoking Stand…

I’ve researched this smoking stand for days & can’t find anything on it (and I’m a Computer Geek). In fact, I’ve only been able to find one made by Tell City, with a clover-shaped top with 3 legs. (see last pic)

I do know it was made after 1954, when Factory #2 began producing bedroom & living room furniture (before this they’d made only chairs & in the 40’s dining-room stuff).
The label has no Style, Model, or Collection # (only Pattern/Finish).

Dimensions: 9Lbs; 20” Height, 11.5” Table-Top (Diameter), 11” Base (Diameter), Ashtray: 5.5” (Diameter)

Thanks in advance for the help. -Shanna H

Is this yours or did you buy this ??

I can assure you they did not make just one !! Wood for these is cut in huge stacks by machinery !! Its possible with the anti-smoking trend that some were discarded or used for other things !! Many smoking stands were turned into plant stands !! What are you trying to find out about these smoking stands ??

Both. It’s mine now that I bought it. 🙂
Mine is the first 3 photos. The last pic is the same one as shown in your link. I only added it to show the one instance of a Tell City Smoking Stand.
I would assume they were produced in bulk, but since I can’t find another, I figured they were bought up or just very rare.
I’d just like to know more. -Thanks!
