Hello, I hope I’m posting in the right area this is my first time here, I apologize in advance if I’m not. but here is my situation. I have a Cache Collection made by Lane Cedar chest
also says Sweetheart chest on Certificate on the inside, This was handed down by my wife’s grandmother and according to the serial number on the bottom it was made on
06-25-1912 it’s in excellent condition and was wondering if somebody could tell what the value of it would be. I never realized it was that old till I found a website explaining how to find the date on the bottom. Thanks
Here is the problem with that date,, the Cache Collection was not made till much later !! In 1912 the company was just getting started and if I remember correctly was not called The Lane Company !! Let me do some checking on this tomorrow !! If possible could you post a pic of the chest and the label you found ??
