I bought this clock in a thrift store. It doesn’t work according to clerk (I haven’t plugged it in because I don’t want to possibly harm motor more).
The motor was made by Haydom Mtg Co. and it’s earliest patent is 1933 & it’s latest is 1944 (Haydom was an incredible man & inventor from what I have read on him so far – with over 100 patents!)
The clock has no external markings from any company, so I thought it may be pre production, a prototype or a discontinued clock before it was started.
It has a military look (Haydom worked with the military during the war).
Any info on it, it’s rarity, it’s value, etc.. would be greatly appreciated.
I think it looks like a submarine’s window – & is one of the coolest clock designs I’ve ever seen!
Thanks for any help/info.
