I have been unable to find a single reference to the artist of the statue that I have just aquired at an estate sale. The previous owner claims it was purchased in NY many years ago. It is a beautiful statue/lamp of a woman carrying a vessel “Rebecca – Maiden with pitchers”.

The statue is over 5′ tall with the globe! It is approx 100lbs. and is of beautiful quality.

There is a pottery stamp that says “Harvey Davis 1963”.

There is no reference in any pottery mark search that I have been able to locate.

This statue is of a quality that makes me believe that there was great skill in the craftsman that made it.

Any help, direction, or assistance would be greatly appriciated.
