The chair is not in perfect condition, but still has all original, official labelling, including a stenciled/stamped company initials (T.C. O.T.S.) on the bottom of the chair seat, a company paper label (Form 24), and a decorative label on the back of the chair. For what I have seen online it appears to be some sort of office chair. Based on the attached pictures, when do estimate the chair was made and what do you think the current value is?

Also, is there any way to refurbish this kind of chair without detracting from the value? I would specifically be worried about painting over or otherwise covering the decorative label that is visible on the back of the chair.
