Does anyone know age or value?

I just got this from a yard sale today, and I’m not to sure how old it is. I know it was made by the memphis furniture mfg co. The number on the decal says either 7091/4 or 709 1/4. It had wooden wheels with cast iron covers, dovetail drawers, a swivel mirror attached on top, 3 drawer dresser with locks on the top dresser drawer. Parts of it have been redone, but 95% of it I’m sure is still original.

My mother has a dining table that they bought in the 60’s from a yard sale in Marin, CA.
It is a 48″ round with octagon pedestal base. 5 leaves. So it gets big.
I cannot find a makers mark anywhere so finding the value to get it sold is very hard.
Can anyone tell me what it is? I know the maker is impossible but the style is something I cannot figure out.
I can’t get an image to load but it is online at: http://tucson.craigslist.org/fuo/3667642248.html

If you cannot find a makers name then it’s almost impossible to find the true maker. Even experts get things wrong.I have many books on furniture and very few are indentified. They are only discribed as Edwardian, Provincial, Regency style,Queen Anne etc.etc.etc. There was so many manufactories and men working in private shops. As far as value, furniture values are down in the market today, I’ve seen pictures simuliar to your’s and the prices range from $1800-$3,000.00. If it were mine I would ask myself” What would I pay to buy it?”

I keep posting in places but know one can tell me anything about this chair. I bought in Northeastern Ohio on the PA line 30 years ago. The seat is one solid piece of wood, so is the back. There is a number stenciled on the bottom 769. As far as I can tell it has it’s original black paint. I would love to know something about it. It seems like I’ve seen something similar but I don’t know where. HELP!!!
