Does anyone know age or value?

A piece of furniture from Connecticut circa 1815, chest on chest has veneered fronts on the drawers. Seems to be burled elm or ash booked matched with a frame of a darker straight grained veneer maybe pecan. The boarder square is long grain down the sides and short grained across the top and bottoms of the drawer face. The top and bottom is curling up and breaking in grain into small app.1″ sections and beginning to curl. How can I re secure this veneer? Will re ironing do it?

Hello all,

I have (what I’m assuming is) a British dining table that I am trying to identify. It has 1914 stamped on the wood underneath where the top table panel sits and a mark that looks like IOO or 100, the two OO or 00s have right facing triangles ‘cut’ out, like left facing pacmen almost! I’ve uploaded a picture but it’s not particularly clear I’m afraid. Under the date it also has the numbers 809. Could anyone help me identify this piece of furniture? Or maybe point me in the direction of where I might be able to find out more?

Many thanks for any/all help,

Sally
