I found a beautiful hand carved chair, but the Cherubs have the face of an old man, instead of a child’s! Is this normal? Does it help anyone tell me where it’s from/age?

Can anyone tell me about this chair. I have just inherited 8 and don’t know a thing about them. Any help with description, age, manufacturer, etc. would be appreciated. Jan
