I am soon to be selling my mom’s stuff in an estate sale, and found this chair with a note that said “Very old Windsor chair original Connecticut finish”.

I just wanted someone’s opinion who knows about these things, since I have no idea about the condition and finish and if it is from Connecticut.

Apparently, it is called a step-down Windsor Chair because the top or crown rail has steps in it.
