Did you check out the link I gave above ?? Almost identical table !! New York makes sense being a major import center !! Don`t take the price seriously at the link above !!Current value is much less than that !! Most of these online auction/sales sites are way off current values !!

my location is maryland. However the table was purchused in Virgina. the back story i know of the table, it was purchesed in 1963 for 800$ in new york city. I have been asking around and i will take all the pictures you asked for. the information you gave me is great. atleast you detailed your observations.

This might answer your questions,, late 19th century or early 20th century made in Spain !!

First of all,, what is your geographical location ?? Need better and closer pic of the underside of the table where the metal stretcher attaches to the wood !! Also open the drawer and take a pic of the dovetail joints on the side !! What is the next to last pic ?? Appears to be metal but due to the pics being oversized it is not loading completely so cannot see it !! Does not look like Renaissance style only similar carvings !! The top looks like a 4 board top and that would indicate a later date !! 19th century furniture would have been made from old growth wood and would have wider boards !! But will wait to see additional pics !!
