i am trying to find information on a table i have. i am not sure if it is a 19th Century Renaissance Style Desk or earlier. i dont have much information on it. i know it is heavy and is a old table. i could not locate any marking or stamps. hoping to just hear some feed back.
length is 4 feet 3 inches
Width is 2 feet 7 inches
Height is 2 feet 5.5 inches

First of all,, what is your geographical location ?? Need better and closer pic of the underside of the table where the metal stretcher attaches to the wood !! Also open the drawer and take a pic of the dovetail joints on the side !! What is the next to last pic ?? Appears to be metal but due to the pics being oversized it is not loading completely so cannot see it !! Does not look like Renaissance style only similar carvings !! The top looks like a 4 board top and that would indicate a later date !! 19th century furniture would have been made from old growth wood and would have wider boards !! But will wait to see additional pics !!
