We’re liquidating my Grandfather’s estate to help offset rest home costs and I came across these two bottles. They both have seams and an unusual look I think.

The “Cruet” as I call it (Blue) looks like it’s blown glass but has obvious seams. It’s in perfect condition and I love the irregularity in the thickness of the glass. It’s heavy for it’s size and a really neat little piece. Kind of reminds me of an old net float used for fishing. There are no marks on this bottle.

The little green bottle I was able to find two examples of online in auction settings – one calls it a flask, the other a wine bottle/vase. It’s also in perfect condition – no chips, crack, flea bites, etc. and the color is very consistent. This bottle has ‘S 372 F” on the bottom. It measures approx 5 1/4″ tall and 4″ wide.It bottle necks 2″ and has a 1″ top with 3/4″ opening.

The last piece is my favorite though – it’s like a shining diamond. I believe they call this Brilliant Period Cut Glass? It’s clearly not molded glass, and might even be crystal – I’m not sure how to tell these things. I know it’s very old because my great, great aunt passed it down to my grandfather just before she passed in 1981. She had inherited it from her mother. Grandpa’s 94 & I’m 52…you do the math 😉 I don’t see any marks on it, but it does have one little corner chipped off the edge. Other than that, it’s stunning.

Sorry – can you tell I’m new to this forum =/

Okay – I can’t seem to add images or even a document with the pics in it due to size restrictions, but here’s a link to my photobucket account – they’re there in this folder: http://s40.photobucket.com/user/LisaPrice/library/a%20eBay%20April%202013?page=1
