Hi,
I would like to see if anyone can help identify my recent purchase.
I have a cobalt blue vase with a sterling overlay decoration. The rim is sterling and the scroll work is sterling. This is not painted on, it is actual sterling silver. There is a marking at the base of the vase, it reads, “Sterling, 682”.
The inside of the vase is white, it is like a case glass of white on the inside and cobalt on the out.
This vase measures 11 3/4″ tall, the top measures 3 1/2″ across as does the base. The widest area measures 4″ across.
I am curious to who was the maker, the style of vase and estimated value.
This piece is so beautiful and is my new favorite heirloom, I would never want to sell this fabulous vase.
Thank you in advance for your time.
