Etched “Bristol” on bottom. I’m guessing the center is where they removed the remnants of the pontil? S. Balin? Baler? S. Bal?? is the signature of the artist? Also marked “B.B.C S or G What do the initials stand for? And would those initials help estimate the age? I see a lot of “bristol cobalt blue” items on eBay. Are they using “bristol cobalt blue” generically? Some items are “vintage/expensive” and others are not. I only see a few with the word “bristol” on the bottom. The very tip at the top looks like it was “pinched” on the inside and outside by some type of tool in order to form/stretch out the spout. (pull the still hot glass to form the mouth?)
I hope I didn’t ask too many questions at once just for a $5.00 ? vase. Thanks in advance.

Similar to the first one here !! Even if just a few years old can be slightly different from the one shown !! $54. new so I would say around $30. on the secondary market !! Bristol blue still being made !! Have no idea what the BBCS stands for and couldn`t find anything related to it,, but I bet the BB stands for Bristol Blue !! Likely its some sort of artists guild !!
You’re good. Thank you very much. I try to search out as much info on mine own as I can because I learn a little more each time, but I know I can come here for an answer and not be disappointed.
Thanks Again.
