I have a vintage piece of glass which appears to have a dragonfly pressed into the bottom. Does anyone know who this dragonfly represents? I mean who made it? Wish I could put a picture up but just wondering about the dragonfly. Thanx for helping.

Did you try encyclpedia of glass marks? Kovels has one that resembles a bumblebee but can’t get any info on the mark.

This is a bowl that my father picked up in the early 70’s from some where in Michigan. I’m really not even sure if it’s a dragonfly but it definitely is some sort of a mark that looks like a bug or crustation of some sort. I was able to get pictures up, I hope it helps. Just really curious about it’s origin. Thank you for your time and help.

You don’t say what your piece of glass is. Try the website of Capredoni Glass, they use the dragonfly as a mark. Alfred Capredoni made glass for Dartington. The son Chris runs the business now and in the early years they made vases etc. but most of it is paperweights and crystal animals now. also someone wrote that they found a dragonfly on another piece of glass but it was’nt Capredoni and the Glass encyclopedia does’nt know who it is.
