I’m hoping someone can help me with some info on this piece. It belonged to my grandmother who passed away about 14 years ago. It was on a shelf and kind of caught my eye today and I wanted to find some info on it.
It is about 7.5 inches tall and a 3″ triangle base with one of the triangle points being rounded. The bird itself is frosted and the base is not. There is a tiny chip on the bottom of the base. Other than that small chip there are no other chips or scratches on it. On the base under the bird it says J. Martell and on the side it says Francs.
Any information, including an approx value, would be greatly appreciated.

Worked on this til after midnight last evening !! Still need to do a bit more research !! Problem is the Martel brothers worked in hard metals and even concrete, marble ect !! I have found nothing so far that they ever worked in glass !! It is not mentioned yes or no !! I am thinking this may be from their studio which is still open but not created by them during their lifetime !! Will check further !!
