Hi – It is a beautiful vase. It is probably a “new cameo glass” vase most likely made by Dalian Mornlight Decorating Company of Dalian, China. $80 is probably a fair price as these sell for around $100 to $200. The upside is that it may become quite collectible in the future. This one appears to be marked with their own name, and it is therefore not a problem.

If you do intend to collect cameo glass, I would suggest you only buy from reputable dealers. You may also familiarise yourself with real and reproductions by reading the other articles on the link I provided. Also, the signatures such as Gallé, Daum, André Delatte, Schneider etc, on most antique cameo glass and other art glass from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, are those of the designers. Most of these designers founded manufacturing studios and had craftsmen working for them, but the designs that went into production was with their approval and their signature. Have you checked the ages here for a similar signature ?? The problem is that cameo glass is known my the Mfr. and not the artists name !! In other words if there were a Mfrs name such as Galle` you could look for that then try to find the individual artist that did the design !! I don`t guess there is a mfrs name on bottom is there ??
