I am trying to find out if the Westmoreland Paneled Grape Hand Blown Salt and Pepper shakers PG-101 should have the “WG” emblem on the bottoms? I have told that hand blown pieces could not have the emblems and I have also been told that some of the did. If anyone know where to go to verify this or find more information, it would be appreciated. I attached a photo of the salt and pepper shakers, that I am talking about for a reference. Thanks

I have a Westmoreland milk glass book and yes your salt & pepper is Westmoreland. Just below the lid the glass is smooth, then a rim and then the grape pattern. The smooth part and rim matches a lot of their grape pattern peices. Another way to tell is Westmoreland feels very smooth to the touch and the glass is top quality. As far as the marks many of their peices were not marked. there is more unmarked peices than there is marked. the very small peices most were never marked including their small cruets. But the sad part is they do not have much value anymore. Someday I hope people appreciate the beauty of milk glass.
