I recently found two “Waukesha Mineral Springs Water” glasses at a local thrift store in Omaha,Ne..
Believe it or not on two different days. Through internet research and an e-mail to the Waukesha County Museum I was able to verify that they are from the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
What I would like to know is the rarity or if they were ever reproduced at any time.
They do have the “Libbey Cut Glass,Toledo” trademark
surrounded by “Manufactured Worlds Fair Factory” on the bottom of the glass.
I do believe these glasses to be original, but would appreciate any additional information.
Also the only picture I found was at Worthpoint which I am not a member so I couldn’t get a value. Any help in this area would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Bob
