Stay away from dealers !! They might offer you $25. each !! They buy low and sell high !! I would advertise in your local craigslist first !! They also have buy sell face book groups I hear !! Also check the internet for Lenox collector groups !! They may have classifieds that you can list for free !!

thanks so much for research! My grandparents owned a lot of snazzy things and I can totally see them trying to stay ahead of their friends! I can tell you that when these lamps are lit they are beautiful. Still, it would have to be a perfect fit in order for someone I to pay what they’re worth so I won’t keep my hopes high. I guess I start with local dealers and ebay I’ll keep you posted if I find that one person who “really, really” wants them!

Sorry haven`t been able to get back to this !! Allergies giving me fits with all the pollen flying !! Will try to get back this afternoon !!

Finally got to look around bit between sneezing bouts !! I found many that were for sale approx. same size and era !! But very few that actually sold !! Found one lamp on ebay that was similar and it had some serious watchers priced at $199. and that’s about what yours should sell for each !! But there is no way to outguess the buying public !!
And to explain the “Blanc de Chine” wording !! That was part of the marketing strategy !! I mean it simply means “white from china” but we know it was made right here in the USA. !! Now if you were a shopper back in the fifties which would you buy given similar prices ?? A lamp that was just white porcelain or one that sounded exotic with the French name “Blanc de Chine”!! Remember that back then they would have to save up to purchase many of these things !! Most people would not have known what it even meant !! But it sounded like you were doing well indeed when you told the ladies at the Bridge Club that they were Blanc de Chine lamps !!

yes, you’re right. Maybe they were wrong about the term. Also, I believe the price given was for the pair. It was so long ago. I appreciate the time you have given here. Were you able to find similar items?

That’s a pretty standard mark so these are fine !! I am afraid the values in todays market are going to be less than that amount !! You do not need to find the exact same lamp to establish a value !! Just a similar style and size from the same era !! Blanc de Chine is a white porcelain from China however your lamps were made in USA as you said so that term is a bit misleading !!
Was that appraisal for the pair ?? Or each ??
