I came across a 66 pc sterling flatware dinner set marked: “A.Michelsen/Copenhagen” , “Sterling/Denmark”… R (with a circle around the R).
I am looking for info on when it was made and what it’s worth is. I is comprised of 6 – place settings (each with dinner& salad fork, knife, Tsp, Tbsp), 6 more steak? knifes, and 6 more sugar/dematise spoons, 6 teeny tiny (salt) spoons, and 12 various sized serving pieces (carving set, ladle, lrg spoons, forks, cake…). From what I have researched- A.michelsen made medals for the king. All have monograms with “W”. I have spent ~ 6 hours and cannot find any information about this pattern. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
