I was told this was a perfume spinkler bottle and am not able to find something similar to compare. it has a silver top marked “mille & cle” “paris, bte sgdg”
The top unscrews and the wick is in a glass insert that removes.
It smells of perfume (and is gagging me)
The measurements are approx 8″ x 4″
see image
Help please

I have been looking for another sprinkler bottle with the wick type top but have found none !! This makes me think that this is not a sprinkler but is a diffuser !! The scent would be drawn up in the wick and would scent the air,, not the person !!

These pics are fine,, Are you sure the Mille is spelled correctly ? Mille means “a thousand” !! Cie means “Company” !! But I cannot find a company with that name !!
The maker of the lid and the maker of the glass bottle are different !!

That is not a working link !! The BTE or Brevete SGDG means patented !! Need to see the bottle Above is an example of another perfume sprinkler !! These have been used since the 16th century !! Usually they contained rosewater in years past !! Try washing it out and filling with plain or wintergreen alcohol and let it sit for several days with cap on !! Repeat if the smell still lingers. then let air out a while !!
Will wait for pics !!

Mot sure how to upload pics from my library. ( feeling stupid).
