I have inherited a set of china from a deceased uncle. It is a complete set for 12 people and has gold trim around every piece. He brought it home from China when he was stationed there with the Marine Corps in the 1920’s and 30’s. It has gold trim around every piece. How do I find the value of this set? I can provide pictures if needed. Thanks.
If this question should be in a different topic please advise. Thanks.

Jp as far as selling replacements.com does buy china but will pay so little I tried & it would of cost me more to ship than what they would pay. you could try a large auction house in your area email them photos & see if they send an auction estimate but there is a chance it will sell low. Best bet would be to break up the set and sell piece by piece lots of work but better profit. check ebay and list auctions a little lower than what is listed. Or figure a price from replacements.com & call people on craigslist who are estate buyers they will not pay you replacments prices as they want to make a profit but pick a price you are willing to let it go for. good luck:)

Wendy, thanks do much! I followed the links to the site you recommended and I found the exact pattern. Outstanding. What do you suggest I do if I am inclined to sell this china set? How do I do it? Where do I go? What are the steps? Can you offer some suggestions please? Thanks again.

Jp to resize your photo I can not help so lets try this if you go to www.replacements.com and click on the top left tab that says china Then click N next scroll down the list & find Noritake click on it you can then search your pattern name which I believe you said was floris click that it will give you piece names & values along with photos. good luck and let me know how you make out!!!;)

THanks Wendy,
I have done that but I get an error message from the forum preventing my pix to load. It says the picture is too big. What size do I have to make it and how do I resize it? Thanks.
