I live in Orlando and the Antique furniture prices are declining. Is this just a regional issue?

Ive thought about your question for two day’s and still not sure. Compare your area to where I live I would have to say yes. I live in the midwest surrounded by farms and huge dairy’s and good solid industry. We were not hurt as much during the recession. The employment rate is now 3.4% and housing and construction stayed about the same. But in spite of that they will not pay out rageous prices for antiques. Everybody want’s a bargain, so Yes they have declined a little because your selling to the middle class who have held on to their jobs but food and gas makes them want a good bargain in antiques. Many in my area are buying high quality Amish furniture. Then again you have the very rich mixed in with them so some antique furniture is getting good prices.
