What is this? Style? Hand-made, hand-carved, no nails, wood joints, irregularities throughtout the piece: arms, spindles and in the unusual carvings. Velvet seats on two chairs and one settee. Hi…any ideas or answers yet? I have a dark wood set of six chairs and a huge round dining table that is very very similar to the pictured chair. My set has no screws, nails, etc. It is all jointed together. I have been doing some research and think the style is Spanish…perhaps colonial or renaissance but…again, just an amateur guess. Good luck, I’ll be watching to see if anyone can help you.
