Friedrich is correct !! Many times these are advertised as Blanc de Chine which is an elegant way to say “white China” !! They are very pretty what ever their origin !!

I doubt that you will ever find out who really made this item as it looks like a post-WW2 item “Made in Japan” which was sold via some US importer/distributor/retailer. In many cases the US company did not even know who made these goods as they were spot market purchases.
