It looks quite old and has some worn spots, which I assume were due to use…just what use, and where it is from are what I’m trying to find out. Thank you for all you help and ideas

The handle on the right side in the pic would say that is its likely use !!

The diameter is 12″, it is 5″ high on the base and the top portion to the conical top is about 7″. Hope this helps. I seem to remember, thanks to your notes, that it may have been a lunch pail”.
