Hello,
I have a friend who has a huge collection of Betty Boop collectible items from dolls to plates, stamps, etc. We are looking for a place to sell them as they have down-sized to a smaller home and no longer have the room. Not much seems to be selling here in the States on Amazon or eBay. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
That doesn`t surprise me !! Very few except the older generation would remember her !! I would try some of the toy collecting sites !! Many of those that collect toys from that era could be a better market !! Check the sites and see if they have free classifieds. Craigslist would be another to try !! It would be local so no shipping !! I usually post to the largest town within driving distance of me for better exposure.!! Just make sure that it is a good buyer and have a drop point at a place away from your home that is heavily populated. Like a mall or your favorite grocery market !! Do not give your address or anything personal !! I would not even use last names or at least,, not the correct one !! I am in a small town so we do not have the problems some have with craigslist that are in metro areas !! But better to be safe,, just in case !! I am thinking about working on a way to use craigslist with the USP for shipping !! The buyer protection is the only problem !! There will always be crooks somewhere in the world !!
