I recently purchased this wonderful plaque from an estate sale. It is a 15″ brass plaque/wall plate with copper and silver metalwork depicting a marriage scene. I believe the metalwork is called repousse. I would like to know the age and possible value. I have attached pictures. There are no marks on reverse side.
Thanks.

Well,, Its still upside down in the pics !! Kind of wanted to see the dress of the characters in the center !! Might help tell its origin !! Most are Middle Eastern,, Arabic !! Looks like this is a two piece hanger where the decorative front is attached to the brass backing !! I think this is probably from the 40`s or 50`s !! There was a resurgence of these in the late 60`s and 70`s !! They are simply decorative items !! Most of the vintage ones are in the $40. to $60. dollar range !!

Thank you …… that’s pretty much what I determined ….thanks for your verification.

Thank you for you response. I have added a close up pic of the center….it appears to be a marriage/wedding scene. There are four figures with the two in center holding hands…..above the four are 2 cherubs with wings and a feather fan between the cherubs.
I hope the pics are right side up for you this time…..I am taking the pics with right side up.
Thank you

Is it intended as a wall hanger ??
