I hope someone can help tell me what I have. I purchased this at a yard sale in VT today for $30.00 (I thought it was cool). It stands about 16″ tall at 9″ across the bottom. No distinguishing marks apart from the lettering:P. Doorey Amsterdam NY. I did find that he was elected as an Alderman in Amsterdam NY in 1903. Any help on the use and possible value would be appreciated! I cannot add a pic, as the size is too large for the site. If knowledgeable, send me an email and I will forward you a pic. Thanks!
My parents approx 1955 had mahagony wood complete unit set made to fit in pre war apartment in nyc. I do not know who made it as it was well made and theres a sterrio and radio built in. I wanted to know who made it ( my father onced told me it was the same person maybe a contractor? Who took it apart and moved it to a smaller apartment. I wanted to know who made it and how much its worth asap. I can’t find anybody in nyc to help me with this. I hope to get answers as it is a beautiful piece. (Stereo H.H.
