Wanting to know value of old piece of marigold, star and file celery vase. Have not seen a picture of it it in any price guides so wondering if it is rare? 5 1/2″ tall, 3 3/4″ wide, no lid, 2 handles, one directly oposite the other…. It is not a repro as I got it from mother’s house and I’ve seen it at grandmother’s since little child in 1950’s. I am assuming it is a celery vase as there is no lid, and not a loving cup as there is no indented base, just a straight shape from top to bottom.
Saw a $30-40 value listed,(not pictured), in 2007 Warman’s and wondering if it has gone up or down in value.
thank you,

Value has dropped down a little, just by looking in other price guide books that are 2012 going back through other years. Marigold is quite common and at auctions it would sell for around $!5.00 but I have noticed that carnival glass is still very popular in certain patterns and colors. You probably will never sell it so in future years it will go back up in price. Have a good day.
