Hi,

I have a number of characters from what i believe to be the original Cooper Clayton pottery markers, these have been passed onto be from a relative and i cant seem to find any information on them. They have hand written text on the underside saying for example “The Pot Seller” Cooper Clayton Characters. Can anyone tell me what they are likely to be worth? hi, I googled Cooper Clayton figurines and found a question very similiar to your’s and Mrs. Kovel answered it this way.Cooper Clayton is the name of a pottery factory in Fenton Staffordshire,England from 1947 to 1953 when it was then sold to Sterling Pottery and they continued using the former owners name for awhile. They are called Toby Jugs even though some are not Jugs. They are not to be confused with Royal Doulton or Staffordshire Toby’s. Kovels valued hers at $25.00 in 2011. Many were made using Cooper Clayton molds until the 1990 or so.
