[file] [file] [img] Hello,
I recently went to an auction and came upon an interesting item that though I know nothing about it, bid on it anyway and won. Now I’m not sure exactly what it is I have, other than the fact that it is a clear glass bowl with bright yellow etchings or painting of some type. It came in its original box along with a paper stating it was a genuine Cunjing box I am attaching a couple of pictures along with this hoping that someone can tell me what exactly this might be worth. I paid only $7 for it and just liked the way it looked. The little budda looking man on it is just too cute and for no reasons I can explain to myself let alone any of you, I just had to have it. Now I want to know did I waste seven bucks, or did I make a good deal and have something of some value here. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and help a fellow collector out here. Again thanks!!!
I tried to attach the 3 pictures I have but am not a real computer kind of gal and can’t figure out how to get the pictures of this out to you good folks. So Sorry.
I looked around on sites and came up with one small bowl in original satin lined box crystal glass. clear glass on inside but cut glass on outside and either the glass was blue or painted blue and I could not get a price for it. There is none on any other shops or e-bay. Cunjing makes other things and I think it is rather new. If you like it that’s all that matters and you definately did not waste your money. Happy bidding!
