Estate Sales and Auctions want 40 – 50% of what sells. Consignments are up to 50% as well. To me that is a rip off.. yeah I know they have to make money but come on! I did find a great estate sale company that is Christian based they are out of Michigan, around the Cass County Michigan area. They charged us 20% I couldnt believe it! They did have a clean up charge but that to was cheap. They were very professional and worked hand in hand with us to get the most of our money. I sure hope they can stay in business with rates like that. I think they are the only ones who realized just where the ecomony is today.
