Unsure what I have here. I have a china set all matching pieces but not all are stamped and not all are embossed on the back. The pieces have what looks like a blue transfer pattern with roses with a distinct pattern of FFFF’s visible. The stamp on the back is two-part, one being a rather large blue logo stating The Fenton Pottery Co. Royal Fentonworks Fenton Staffs followed by FENTON on a shield then We Supply Direct From Factory To User Catalogue Post Free. Only the plates have an embossed half circle print that is hard to make out but looks like BRINGWOOD and G-9, which is of course just silly, but that is all I can make out. I haven’t seen this pattern description and only similar Royal Doulton pieces in a similar shape. The rim of the cups is fancy (2 of which are demi-tasse size) but looks hard to drink from and the handle is ornate as well. The rim of the plates are embossed and trimmed in gold. I will upload pictures if anyone is interested in helping me out.

OK !! Not at all what I thought they might be !! These were made by Bridgwood at the Royal Fenton Factory,,Staffordshire England !! Seem that others have the same “We supply direct” phrase !! I think they mean that they will supply a catalogue to the user postage free !!

Please post your pics to photobucket.com !! This site is difficult to get pics to load. Just post the link !! Offhand from reading what you have written, it sound like possibly a salesmans set !! Just take pics of the ones you are talking about here and a good one of the backstamps !!
