Hello all,
For about 30 years my mother had been collecting all types of Lenox China (over 200 pieces) from plates, cups & dolls ….Tragically she had been killed in a car accident a while back and my father is ready to down size his house and will not have anywhere to put these. He would like to sell them and give the money to my mothers favorite charity HEROES which helps the families of fallen firefighters and Police Officers. Most of these collectibles still have box and
certificate of authenticity.
If anyone out knows of a company that can get these appraised or better yet sell please let me know….We live in the Va, Md DC area

Sorry to hear about your mother but if I were you, I would save the money that an appraiser would cost !! Lenox made so many of these and other figurines as well as dinnerware that resale value is almost non existant !! Rarely are they getting bids at all and when they do its in the less than $10. range for most dinnerware,, place settings are getting no bids at all !! Very few of the figurines are moving with the exception of the porcelain birds and they are in the under $10. range with only one or two over $10. but under $20. !! Ebay is a good source to see if anyone is buying these !! Many are listed but you cannot go by the start/asking price !! If you sort by “ending soonest” you can see if any are actually selling !! If you wish to sell as a lot,, all for one price,, you might check an online replacement company such as replacements.com or any of the matching services !! But,, their prices paid are going to be low for you and way above market value for them !!
