Hi

I have had no luck identifying these plates that were my grandmothers. I think she got them in the 1940s or 50? My mom remembers them from her childhood (1940s)

There are NO markings on the bottom at all. We’re missing a few, and I’d like to replace them – but its impossible without a name of a manufacturer or pattern.

Thank you

Yep!! Those are the dishes… And I need that creamer! 😉

Well, now that I have a pattern and name, I can keep an eye out… even thought it looks like I’m going to have to get really lucky to find some

Thank you again. I know its only dishes.. but I’m so happy to have the information!

Hi, I found some more info on your dinnerware. I googled Stetson solid color dinnerware and then went to website Alara-airflow Ohio River Pottery.com and they have several pictures of the dishes. There some confusion of when they were made .Some sites say 1920-30ties but my books say 1946-1966 before that owned by another co. Also pattern name is listed on some sites as Alara. The solid colors are very rare

Sure enough!! As soon as I look in another book, I find your Gramma’s dishes!!! Stetson China co. Lincoln Illinois. They started production 1946 and closed 1966. The pattern name is Airflow. Nothing was stamped. they used decals. However much of it’s output was unmarked, from the book Pottery and Porcelain by Harvey Duke and also Lehners Book. Your solid color dishes are rare and you might have a hard time getting replacements.
