Thanks Chris,, I wondered if that was the source of these plates !! Sold as undecorated blanks but nothing seemed to point in that direction !! Your site did not show up in my search !!

Plate originally made for importer/disributor [b]Tressemann & Vogt[/b] from the Limoges area of France, then re-decorated by hobbyist. These hobbyist-(re)decorated items commonly have sentimental value only.

There is a little info here !! Not much is known about these souvenir plates and none of the artists names were ever recorded !! Made between 1892 and 1907 !! I would guess your artist had a tabby cat named Jack !!
Not sure about the value the expert places on these plates !! I would check ebay for current sale records as well as other sites !!

From top to bottom of the back it says souvenir then t&v then france

Can you take a close up of the mark on back ?? Can`t read it !!
