This will tell you what was going on in the early 1900`s design world !! About the 4th paragraph has a pretty good interpretation of the Art Nouveau movement !! Look on the left side for a broach from that time !! Just learning the different design eras will help you a lot !!

I should have described them better. They are made of gold tone base metal,bt I have been unable to find a mark on either of them. I have several pieces of this type that I haven’t yet identified. I have collected different items a long time,but have not learned a lot about jewelry and styles. Thank you again.

Both look to be Art Nouveau period from late teens to about 1930 !! Look well made !! But beyond that its about all one can tell from pics !! Value would depend on what they are made of and what the public is looking for !! I would check ebay for similar and then look on the left column for sold listings !! That will tell you what people are actually paying for similar broaches !! They do not need to be the same exact one,, just similar !!
