Porzellanmanufaktur Scheibe-Alsbach from the town of Scheibe-Alsbach in Thuringia, Germany. The series this figure comes from is merely named French Military (no names per figure) and is attributed to sculptor/designer Prof. Felix Zeh.
Your figure was made during the late 1960s/early 1970 when the East German regime was starting to lose their marbles … color schemes were dropped in favor of what paint / colors were left (shortages due to reduced oil imports) and molds were literally used “pop-til-drop” (no repairs, insufficient drying times, massive loss in detail).
Especially the horse looks as if it’s going to go call quits any minute. A genuine piece, but far from being a perfect example of their usual craftmanship.
