How can I find out the age of an item if the Manufacturer tells me, “Sorry, our books don’t go back that far”. I have recently come into possession of SEVERAL items rangine from 50 years old on up to being from 1848. Having no luck locating any info on them, though…

I usually start my research with a google search using certain keywords pertaining to the item or company that you are trying to find information on.
If all else fails sometimes the local library may help. If you don’t mind could you tell me the company name?
