I have a small candy bowl with fluted golden edge and red-orange roses in the bottom of the bowl. Small roses painted around the outside edge. The name “Hummel” is handprinted in red on the bottom of the bowl. Is this the same Hummel that produced the figurines? Does anyone know anything about it or its value?
From all I can find this is not a Hummel by Sister M.I. Hummel !! She never made bowls as far as I know,,only the figurines !! They would have her Initials and last name,,not just the last name by itself !! The Goebel company with whom she worked may have but they would have the Goebel name or both if it was her design !! You can look on the internet for the known Goebel/Hummel marks !! Most will have a bee included !!
