I have a Royal Fenton plate that shows the surrender of Col. William Ledyard. At the top of the plate in a circle is Daughters of the American Revolution. On the back in a scroll it says The Massacre of Fort Griswold Groton Conn. Sep. 1781. Under that it says this plate is issued by the Anna Warner Bailey Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution 1908 Copyrighted. Any info would help – Kovels

I got the plate at an auction. Growing up in MA. I’ve always like the revolutionary War and I found this plate interesting.
