I bought an item that looks something like a serving dish for something. I have had it for about 4 years and no one can figure out what it was used for. On the bottom is stamped “T.H&S” and 8701 and “EP” . If you could tell me what it is and year and value I would so appreciate it. Also there is a metal ledge on the inside on one end. Thank You! Scroll down here about halfway and you will find your mark !! Thomas Harwood & Sons, 1864 to1896 !! Your mark is on the far right !! I think this may be a bone dish but let me check,,may be way off !!
How big is it ?? Is it made all as one piece with just the top opening,,no removable lid ?? Is that half round area on the inside the ledge you are talking about in the first pic
