Hello. This piece has been in our family for about 100 yrs. My great uncle returned from France after WWI with it and I can’t seem to determine the maker. It is clearly numbered on the base. It stands approx. 24 – 28 inches tall. Can you help. Thanks any direction will be appreciated.

This appears to be some kind of chalk ware or plaster statue !! The number on back is just a style number and does not help to identify it !! Sorry !!
Do you know who the statue is ??
